Jim Deakyne, President
Urban Advisors
Jim Deakyne knows land and the land development process. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, he knows and understands what developers are looking for in a property.
Jim founded Urban Advisors in 2007. He has sourced, brokered, or developed land for more than 9,000 multifamily units with a land value of over $200 million. His responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting, entitling and managing consultants through the development process. He has also brokered land for the development of medical, retail, office, and single family communities. He is the recipient of back to back Co-Star Power Broker awards in 2005 and 2006. Jim is active in his church and spends his leisure time with his wife Kim, their 7 children, and their 8 grand-children. He also spends his time managing his son’s club basketball team.
